when i first watched the great sir Mygo on youtube playing PangYa and typing these weird stuff on the chat bar, i was like, what the hell is he doing??? o.O until i knew that he's counting this HWI thing using his chatbar...
i was like, "HOW??????????" -_-
with my urge to know, i did a little research and found out how it's done.. it is easy to deal with this using 2 digit numbers, like .35, .85 .63 .71 .46 etc..
MULTIPLYING 2 digit numbers horizontally.. not the usual vertical way..
this is how it's done.. (long process, but after learning, you'll be multiplying 2 double digit numbers in no time)
since i mentioned from my previous post that i don't belong to this complicated way of calculating HWI, here i'll show you how it's done(maybe my way, maybe they have a different way)
as we all know, multiplication is easy, yes that is if its done downwards, now how about sideways?
in this method, we multiply first our HWI and Trigonometric function Sine value..
Given
HWI: .65
Sin value: .34
Wind: 7
first we take our HWI and Sin value..
*opens chatbox*
.65 .34
first we multiply TENTHS place of each number(6x3=18)
then the HUNDREDTHS place of each number(5x4=20)
and put the answers on the other side of the chat box..
.65 .34 .1820
next step is, we multiply the EXTREME of both numbers(6x4=24)
then the MEAN of both numbers(5x3=15)
and put the answers on the chat box separately..
.65 .34 .1820 24 15
just simply add 24 15 and you can get rid of them on the chat box(24+15=39)
just bare in mind the sum 39 and mentally add them to .1820 as .039
or just think of it adding this way
.1820
+.039
or just simply
.1820
39
which will give you
.2210
round off to the nearest hundredths place which will give you .22
then just simply multiply this number to the wind mentally or by moving method..
.22 x 7m wind
.7x2 = 1.4
so move 1.4tiles
.02x7 = .14
and an additional .14tiles to complete the tile move.. :)
DONE! see? :3 try doing it your self and you'll be amazed how easy it is..
hope this is helpful! 'til then guys!
see you around! :)
I am actually amazed that no one has put the effort into leaving something as simple as a comment to thank you for your posts here.
ReplyDeleteSomething as simple as the hole to look for HWIs has helped me greatly and I would like to say thank you. :)
you're welcome buddy and enjoy playing! just remember to have fun :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for your help, I haven't tried yet. I'll check it out. Where can I get HWI of 276???
